Undersea Splendor

This is another painting referenced from my good friend Jay Lowe's terrific undersea photos. Jay is an inveterate scuba diver and spends hours exploring the reef off Gallows Point in Cruz bay, St. John, USVI.   I've been fortunate that he's willing to share his photos and finds with me as my painting subjects.  The gorgeous fish in this painting is a Queen Angelfish, in case you were wondering.
