Flag over Bar Harbor

There's great light at twilight and a nice time of day to still see a few details within the shadowed forms including one of the islands. This painting subject is right at the harbor and I liked the shadowed but still bold flag pole and flag cutting vertically through the scene, which I think makes a good composition. The colors of water and sky at dusk are always a pleasure to paint.
