Otter Point Sentinel

I have been painting a series of small works for Argosy Gallery in Bar Harbor from a large stock of my photos of Acadia National Park from many visits there over the years. The many "lookouts' on Otter Point are some of my favorite views so I have enjoyed painting them. This old, dead tree and the waving grasses along with a glimpse of the sea  made an appealing subject, and speak of Maine. Kudos to gallerist Amy Sidman at Argosy Gallery, Bar Harbor, Maine, who sold this one among a number of my paintings in this year's challenging environment while the gallery was open only by appointment.
