This is one of the small paintings I have done for Daily Paint Works for my "100 Paintings in 100 Days" series. For the month of October, I have concentrated on painting domestic animals. I found a rich source of good photographs to work from in my photo archives of a barnyard in Northern Baltimore County, and have painted a number of the series paintings from these photos where the hair or wool of the sheep and goats in the barnyard seems to glow in the backlighting of late day sun.
